Hi, I’m an art teacher in the community teaching drawing, painting, and crafts in Birmingham, Solihull, and Warwickshire. I create my own paintings, collage, small clay work, felting and mixed media artwork and these are displayed with prints of my artwork at various galleries in Birmingham, Kenilworth, Royal Leamington Spa, Warwick. I have also exhibited in the Ikon Gallery, Birmingham, and The Herbert Museum & Art Gallery, Coventry. I graduated with BA(Hons) from the University of Central England (formerly Birmingham Polytechnic) many years ago! I went on to complete PGCE(PCE) and have thoroughly enjoyed teaching art and craft ever since! I teach for several institutions and am also freelance. Poster and Leaflets

After collecting the printing yesterday, and a busy day today meeting and greeting lots of lovely keen folk I’ve arrived home with only a few of my new posters and leaflets left!

I’m so pleased, the printers did a good job yesterday and I had a great time at the weekend arranging some of my art materials and coloured paper on the floor and then taking photos to use as the base layer!  And… here they are in the flesh looking fab, they’ve gone down a storm!

First blog post – New Art Class in Solihull Town Centre.

The great news is that there is a new art class coming to central Solihull at a beautiful venue!  We have the new function room every Wednesday morning 9.30-11.30am.

The enrolment and start date is: Wednesday, 10th January 2018 for 10 weeks.

Class times: 9.30-11.30am

Refreshments are available to purchase from the bar as you enter and then proceed into the new function room, you will be assured of a warm welcome.

Latest News: Enrolment Evening

Come and meet me and complete your enrolment for this coming term by bringing your completed enrolment form and fee.

Since the start of this new art class in central Solihull we are situated in the beautiful function room at The Beech House, 727 Warwick Road, Solihull!  We have the function room every Wednesday evening 6.30-8.30pm.  Usually each term is for 10 weeks, however the Summer and Winter term are 5 weeks duration – before everyone goes on their well deserved summer or Christmas holidays!

Refreshments are available to purchase from the bar as you enter and then proceed into the function room behind the bar through double glass doors, you will be assured of a warm welcome.  It’s a great way to socialise, make new friends, spend time relaxing in beautiful surroundings!
